WORKSHOP ON ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK COMMUNICATION

ON 6th MARCH 2009

BOSE MARCONI CLUB DEPARTMENT OF TELECOMUNICATION
PRESENTS ONE-DAY WORKSHOP ON
ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK AND ITS APPLICATIONS
MARCH 6TH 2009

Artificial Neural Network Artificial Neural Network

An artificial neural network (ANN), often just called neural network (NN), is a mathematical model as computational model based on biological neural network. It consists of an interconnected group of artificial neurons and process information using a connectionist approach to computation”.

Artificial neural networks (ANN) are computational models inspired by biological neural networks, and hence provide a plausible model of superior intelligence with distributed memory and learning capabilities of humans in solving complex real world problems. ANN’s have found applications virtually every field of engineering and business due to their superior adaptive and fault tolerance properties, and are apt to be considered as basic tools every engineer and manager needs to be equipped with.
